Introduction to Python Programming:

Use built-in data structures such as lists, dictionaries, and tuples to perform increasingly complex data analysis.

Basic Statistics: Descriptive statistics, Inferential statistics h4>

Both descriptive and inferential statistics rely on the same set of data. Descriptive statistics rely solely on this set of data, whilst inferential statistics also rely on this data in order to make generalisations about a larger population.

Inheritance:

Superclasses and subclasses, protected members, relationship between superclasses and subclasses, creating and using a subclass using inheritance, inheritance hierarchy, using protected and private instance variables, inheritance hierarchy using private instance variables, constructors in subclasses.

Working With Programming Language:

Basic for “R” Programming and basic use of the RStudio.

SWIRL-interactive “R” learning:

Swirl is a software package for the R programming language that turns the R console into an interactive learning environment. Users receive immediate feedback as they are guided through self-paced lessons in data science and R programming.

Using Anaconda Navigator:

Anaconda Navigator is a desktop graphical user interface (GUI) that allows to launch applications and easily manage conda packages, environments and channels without using command-line commands. Applications that that will be accessed using Navigator: Jupyter Notebook, Spyder, RStudio , Pandas for Python, Numpy, Scipy.

Data Storage - Big Data:

Big Data includes huge volume, high velocity, and extensible variety of data.It cannot be processed using traditional computing techniques. Big data involves various tools, technqiues and frameworks.

Regression Analysis:

Understanding of Simple linear regression, Multiple linear regression and Logistic Regression.

Analysis of Variance:

You will possess general knowledge about oneway, two-way and Multivariate Analysis of Variance - Manova.

Gaining Practical Knowledge about Types of Probability Distributions:

Gaussian, Binomial, Gamma and Poisson probability distribution.

Time Series Analysis:

As the name suggests, it involves working on time based data, to derive hidden insights to make informed decision making. Time series analysis are very useful Mostly for the business work on time series data to analyse and try to predict sales number for the next year, website traffic, competition position and much more.

Data Mining / Web Mining:

Data mining is the process of non-trivial discovery from implied, previously unknown, and potentially useful information from data in large databases. Hence it is a core element in knowledge discovery, often used synonymously. The data may be used to derive actionable recommendations. Web mining describes the application of traditional data mining techniques onto the web resources and has facilitated the further development of these techniques to consider the specific structures of web data.

Simulation / Optimization:

Use simulation optimization to automatically find the best value of one or more variables that we can control. We can put the computer to work, in effect performing parameterized simulations for many different combinations of values for our decision variables, and seeking the best combination of values for criteria that we specify.

On successful completion of this course you will receive a Diploma level qualification that is certified and awarded by the ICM (Institute of Commercial Management)

Venue: The Capel Building, Mary’s Abbey, Dublin 7 (The Capel Building is located in Dublin’s City Centre on Mary’s Abbey (Between the Jervis and Four Courts Luas stops).

Course Fees: €1,395.

To secure your place on the course a deposit of 20% (€279) is required. The remainder of the course fee (€1,116) is due 30 days prior to the commencement of the course. All fees must be paid before the course begins. Please note, the full course fees are inclusive of all course materials and certification costs.
